Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a television arbitrator from Cuba in the shows Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. She was born in Havana Cuba Ana moved to Miami when she was 2 years old accompanied by her family. Born in Habana, Cuba, Ana Maria Polo is the host of the prestigious Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado", the first Spanish show to be nominated the Daytime Emmy(r) Award. The show it was named the number one Spanish-language program in the 4pm hour across all key demos. Polo was born on April 11 of 1959 in Havana, Cuba and went on to study at Florida International University, where she graduated with a degree in political sciences. Then, she obtained the PhD in law at the University of Miami. For twenty years, she practiced law in Miami. In the end, she obtained her PhD in law from University of Miami. University of Miami and practiced law for more than 20 years in Miami. Polo was first exposed to television audiences in 2001, on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas (2001) along with other court shows where her legal expertise was tapped. Literature and Awards. In the year 1958, she published Los Hijos Muertos. This novel won her the Critic's Prize, as well as the Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute moved to the United States from Spain in 1960. Polo speaks frequently and helps in raising funds for the LGBT rights. She has advocated for LGBT rights throughout her career. She has been an active Florida Bar member since 1987. She graduated from law at the University of Miami School of Law.
