 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was the daughter of Joanna Noyes (an actress) and Jan Steen (an actor and director). She is of Dutch and Scottish descendance.



 



 Steen is also an animal rights advocate as well as an environmentalist, in addition her entertainment business. Steen is a supporter of David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee. She's a certified diver and is proficient in a variety of circus arts - including stilt-walking, and fire-twirling.
